My last two weekend

My weekend was not so good. I was sick for one and half week. I had been suffering from fever and caugh. I had to do all the house work and i was looking for a job too. I went bondi beach with my husband, it is a beautiful place. It was a sunny day, I saw lots of people there some were surfing, some were swimmig and catching fish. we had our lunch there, we took some picture enjoyed the view.  we came back 6 pm. beside this we had some invitation in our friends house. I have passed my weekend this way.

We celebrated  Harmony day in St. George TAFE with our teachers, friends and other students. We went to the conference room at 1pm. We saw there were many students and teachers in the room. The room was decorated with balloons, banners etc. Many students brought different types of food from their home. A teacher gave a speech about Harmony day. One student shared his experience of Australia, and another student sang a song very nicely. We all sang the national anthem "Advance Australia Fair". After that we had our lunch and then our teacher Marion took our photos. We went back  home at 2.30 pm. We all enjoyed the day very much.

Harmony day

Harmony day is celebrated around australia 21st march. this day began in 1999 and since than a wide varity of groups including sports organization, community groups, local govt schools,and business have staged more than 25000 hamony day events. Its a day where people come toghether and learn to understand how Australians are different background and living harmony and make Australia living a better place. The key massege of harmony day is " Everyone belongss". which means all Australian are a welcome part of our country regardsless of their background. Over the years harmony day has grown in popularity as australians have made the day their own.

The counsellor's talk

there are 4 counsellors in st.George college of TAFE. last week one of the counsellors named Lusia Odelli came to our class and talked to us about their services. They provide the counselling and career services. If any student needs help about their education, course decisions, further study, career, job, personal matter,or needs to know the rules of TAFE they can go to the counsellor. They will help the student by themself or they will link them to the gonernment assistance that provide for students. She also told that what result a student should need to get advanced standing in a UNI course. If a student wants to talk the counsellor they have to make an appoinment. They will arrange it and they will give 1 hour for a student and it is confidential.

My weekend

Last weekend i went for shopping with my husband. I bought some homeware and some dresses for me. In the afternoon we went to the national park, it was the one of the beautiful place i had ever seen. We stood on a hill, it was too high that we can saw the whole view. after that we went to the garie beach. We saw some people were surfing and some were catching fish by hook. There were big waves in the see, we walked beside the sea water. We took some snacks and coffee from home, we ate & drank them. After that we back to our home, at the end of the day i was very tired but i enjoyed the whole day especially the natural beauti of the national park.

VALENTINE DAY

Saint valentines day commonly shortened to valentines day. The day is named after one or more early christan martyrs saint valentine. Saint valentine loved a girl who was the daughter of emperor, and for that reason he was killed by the emperor on 14th of february. Before his death he leaved a note for his beloved, he wrote on that note '' from your valentine''. After his death all the people of the world honoured 14th february as a valentine day till now.It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, sending greeting cards etc.. In my country people celebrate this day like a festivel.  I'll celebrate it tonight with my husband.  I'll buy some gifts, greeting card and make some special dinner for him, i guess that he'll also  buy a present for me. I hope it'll be the most romantic valentine day i had so far . I think it is good to celebrate this day because most of the time people are stay busy with their work at least this day they can express their love with each other and it can makes a relation more strong & wonderful.

My countrys name is bangladesh. It is a not a big but its a beautiful country. Almost 13 million people live here, agriculture is the main ocupasion in my country beside this there are lots of industrys, factorys, garments.
